Image Philosophy

My mom instilled in me the importance of taking pride in your appearance and how you present yourself to the world.  Even though she was a stay-at-home mom, she always made sure she was dressed well and her hair was done.  Good manners were essential and always expected from us kids.  I learned that good grooming and presentation is a sign of self-respect.  And when you look, feel and conduct yourself in a positive way, then you send that energy to those around you – motivating them to do the same.

A first impression is a lasting impression and we have less than 10 seconds to establish a positive one!  Clothing and presence is a silent yet powerful language, yet many of us are often misunderstood.  Why?  Three possible reasons…first, we don’t realize the impact our image has on how others; second, we realize the importance, but lack the knowledge of how to pull it together; or finally, we just don’t care.

Everyone can benefit from a stronger image.   As an individual taking on new challenges, it can increase your confidence and boost your self-esteem.  For a professional or entrepreneur, it can strengthen your brand and your credibility.   For job-seekers or corporate ladder climbers, it can set you apart from the masses and open up new career opportunities.  For organizations, it enhances the presence of your front-line staff, executives and all those who represent your corporate image.
